Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Blind Manufacturer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the fabrication and assembly of high-quality blinds, requiring precision, attention to detail, and physical stamina. The successful candidate will contribute to the production process by utilising a variety of tools and techniques to ensure our products meet exacting standards. Duties
- Fabricate blinds by cutting, sewing, and assembling fabric and other materials according to specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines safely and efficiently during production
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
- Use fabrication techniques to assemble components, ensuring durability and quality
- Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, material handling, and storage organisation
Requirements
- Proven experience or knowledge in mechanical processes, fabrication, or assembly work is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and fabric cutting equipment
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail in measuring and assembling components
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different manufacturing processes

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,000.00 per year
