We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic chef to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and service, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. You will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Please note that this is a seasonal role running until Oct 25, with the possibility of further hours in the off-season.
We can also offer accommodation with the role.
Duties
· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. There will be opportunities to introduce your own recipes and dishes to the menu.
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
· Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
· Proficiency in food safety standards and best practices for hygiene in the kitchen.
· Strong organisational skills with attention to details in food preparation and presentation.
· Experience in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating meal service efficiently.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
