Job Summary
We are seeking a hungry Painter & Decorator to join our team ready to start now or within a week.
The works range from voids to new refurbs so someone who knows what there doing and can move with speed and efficiency.
The job is FULL TIME with up to 6 days if you want. Lot's of work in the pipeline so this is consistent work.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project to achieve the desired effect.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between job sites.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
