Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 2 to join our team in Romford. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development across all areas of learning.
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and organised activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive guidance and interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in accordance with nursery policies.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
- Assist in the organisation of nursery environments to promote learning and safety.
- Lead small group activities, demonstrating management skills and leadership in guiding children’s learning experiences.
- Contribute to the overall organisation of the nursery, including adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to guide junior staff or volunteers when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative independently.

Pay: £24,420.00-£29,000.00 per year
