Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained.
- Support clients with medication management and personal hygiene routines.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including infection control measures.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely and access to a car .
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care services is desirable.
- Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
- Basic skills for maintaining records and updating care documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating organisational skills.
