About us
Walfinch Home Care Newcastle is a growing home care provider based in North Shields, supporting clients across North Tyneside, Newcastle, South Tyneside, Gateshead and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to support our office team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied role supporting the Managing Director and Care Manager with general office administration, business development support, local research, referral tracking, diary organisation and day-to-day office tasks.
Main responsibilities
The role will include:
- General office administration and business support
- Supporting the Managing Director with diary, admin and organisational tasks
- Shredding, scanning, filing and organising paperwork
- Preparing documents, packs and printed materials
- Keeping the office organised and helping the team stay on top of important tasks
- Maintaining simple spreadsheets and trackers
- Researching local contacts, organisations and potential referral partners
- Supporting our referral partner database
- Helping track enquiries, referral sources and follow-ups
- Supporting review and testimonial tracking
- Helping gather information for local marketing, website pages and social media content
- Supporting meeting preparation, including basic research on local contacts or organisations
- Assisting with general business development administration
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and reliable
- Proactive and willing to get stuck in
- Comfortable using a computer, email, spreadsheets and online systems
- Good at following instructions and completing tasks properly
- Able to work independently once shown what to do
- Confident with admin, research and simple data entry
- Professional, friendly and discreet
- Happy to do both meaningful business support tasks and basic office jobs
- Interested in supporting a growing local care business
Previous office or admin experience would be helpful, but attitude, reliability and organisation are more important.
