The Role
You will be joining a committed team of practitioners within a curriculum area that benefits from large student numbers. The team are driven to ensure the best experiences are given to the learners through innovative teaching and learning in a well-resourced College.
The post will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the areas of Electrical Installation. You will be required to teach a range of levels ranging from 1 to 3.
Main Duties for this role include :

Plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programs using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.

Accurately assess learners work both formatively and summatively against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.

Use all appropriate resources effectively to ensure that the learners’ experience results in positive learning outcomes and high professional standards.

Thoroughly prepare suitable teaching, learning and assessment materials for a range of courses/classes and make use of a variety and appropriate learning and teaching methods.

Have available an up-to-date syllabus and scheme of work (showing methods of delivery and embedded cross-cutting themes) for each course/class taught.

Support learners progress through personal tutoring and parent / careers evenings to help learners achieve their full potential and progress appropriately.
Successful applicants should have:

An Electrical Installation degree or equivalent
-
18th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2365
-
Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one

Relevant industry experience in Electrical
