We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse and Transport Administrator to support our transport and warehouse teams and help maintain the high standards our customers expect.
The Role
The Warehouse and Transport Administrator plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our logistics operation. This position provides administrative and operational support across transport, warehouse and stock functions, ensuring deliveries are coordinated efficiently, records are maintained accurately, and compliance standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
Transport & Delivery Coordination
- Support the planning and coordination of daily delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Communicate route updates and delivery changes to drivers, customers and internal departments.
- Act as a first point of contact for drivers throughout the day, resolving routine queries and escalating issues where necessary.
- Assist with the preparation, loading and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
- Maintain driver records, including working hours and relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with legislation and company procedures.
- Conduct regular driver licence checks and maintain accurate compliance records.
- Support adherence to transport regulations, company policies and health & safety standards.
Fleet & Vehicle Administration
- Maintain records relating to vehicle servicing, inspections, maintenance and compliance.
- Ensure daily and periodic vehicle checks are completed and documented correctly.
- Monitor and report vehicle defects, breakdowns, accidents and insurance-related matters.
- Liaise with external service providers and internal teams to help keep the fleet safe, compliant and operational.
Warehouse & Stock Administration
- Process and record incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is accurately received and documented.
- Support inventory management through regular stock counts and reconciliation activities.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages or quality concerns.
- Assist with stock rotation and the correct handling of products, including fresh produce and temperature-sensitive goods where applicable.
- Maintain accurate stock records to support operational efficiency and customer service standards.
Administration & Operational Support
- Assist with staff rota administration, attendance monitoring and schedule updates.
- Support supervisors with shift coordination and communication of staffing changes.
- Work closely with warehouse, procurement, sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational performance.
- Complete a range of administrative tasks including data entry, filing and record management.
- Produce routine reports relating to deliveries, stock levels and operational performance.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant with company requirements.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
About You

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within warehouse, transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software or transport management systems.
- Understanding of transport legislation, driver regulations and vehicle compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management processes.

Location: Papworth Everard, Cambridge
Hours: 40 per week over five days, 9am-530pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays
