Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager / Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist in supervising restaurant staff, including serving personnel, kitchen team, and baristas, to ensure smooth operational flow
- Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards
- Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to hygiene regulations
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Coordinate with the kitchen team on food production and presentation
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Support staff training programmes and foster a positive team environment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues efficiently
- Contribute to organising special events or promotions within the restaurant
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hotel environments, including supervisory or team management roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Effective communication skills tailored to hospitality settings
- Organisational skills to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or barista duties is advantageous
- Customer-focused approach with a friendly demeanour and professional attitude
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
