We are now seeking a Product Specialist to join us at the heart of our commercial engine.
This is a high-level “right-hand” role working directly with the Managing Director. You will not just be managing tasks; you will be supporting the global distribution of world-class diagnostic technology. The role is ideal for someone who wants to gain broad experience and grow into a more senior position over time
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities1. Product Management & Documentation
- Manage and maintain product documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare, review, and update technical files, product specifications, instructions for use (IFUs), user manuals, technical datasheets, validation reports, and marketing support materials.
- Ensure all product-related documents remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Support the introduction of new products by coordinating documentation, product launches, and technical communications.
- Work closely with R&D, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality teams to ensure product information remains current and technically accurate.
- Assist in product portfolio management and continuous improvement activities.
2. Quality Management & Compliance Support
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of AMD's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 13485 and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in document control activities, including review, revision, approval, and distribution of quality documents.
- Assist with internal audits, supplier quality assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support investigations related to product complaints, non-conformities, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and R&D teams to ensure product consistency, traceability, and compliance.
- Monitor customer feedback and quality performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support risk management activities and product change control processes.
3. Customer Communication & Technical Support
- Serve as a key technical contact for AMD's international customers and distribution partners.
- Provide professional and timely responses to technical inquiries, troubleshooting requests, and product-related questions.
- Coordinate resolution of customer issues by working closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams.
- Deliver exceptional customer support while maintaining strong technical credibility and professionalism.
- Support customer onboarding and implementation of AMD technologies.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support product development and business growth.
- Ensure all customer interactions are documented and communicated effectively across internal teams.
4. Global Distributor Relationship Management
- Build, develop, and maintain long-term strategic relationships with AMD's global distribution network.
- Act as a primary point of contact for international distributors, ensuring effective communication and ongoing support.
- Conduct regular distributor meetings to review business performance, technical requirements, product updates, and growth opportunities.
- Support distributor training programs, product launches, and market expansion initiatives.
- Assist distributors in identifying new business opportunities and expanding AMD's market presence.
- Coordinate distributor requests, commercial inquiries, and technical support activities.
- Foster strong partnerships based on trust, responsiveness, and mutual business growth.
- Monitor distributor performance and support continuous improvement of distributor engagement strategies.
5. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise
- Develop in-depth knowledge of AMD's extensive molecular diagnostics portfolio and technology platforms.
- Provide scientific and technical guidance to customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support assay validation activities, performance evaluations, and product optimization projects.
- Assist in preparing technical presentations, scientific materials, and application notes.
- Stay informed about developments in molecular diagnostics, infectious diseases, genetics, and emerging technologies.
- Act as a technical advocate for AMD products across international markets.
6. Training & Product Applications
- Prepare and deliver technical training sessions for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Conduct remote and on-site workshops, seminars, and product demonstrations.
- Develop training materials, protocols, presentations, and application guides.
- Support customers in achieving optimal performance and successful implementation of AMD technologies.
- Assist in evaluating customer workflows and recommending best-practice solutions.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Production, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Support coordination between internal departments and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate communication between technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with strategic projects and business priorities directed by senior management.
8. Business Growth & Strategic Support
- Support the Managing Director in executing strategic business initiatives and international expansion activities.
- Contribute to market research, competitor analysis, and business development opportunities.
- Assist in identifying new markets, partners, and commercial opportunities for AMD products.
- Support preparation of business reports, presentations, and distributor performance reviews.
- Take on increasing responsibility as knowledge, experience, and leadership capabilities develop.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Genetics, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics, PCR technologies, and life-science products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical documentation and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
