What Will You Be Doing?
As a Night Concierge, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and supportive environment for residents across multiple supported accommodation sites during overnight hours. Your main responsibilities include:
- Multi-Site Security & Patrols: Conducting regular safety and welfare checks across designated properties, travelling between locations to maintain a reassuring presence.
- Incident Prevention & Enforcement: Taking a proactive approach to preventing anti-social behavior, upholding house rules fairly, and managing overnight access safely.
- Surveillance Operations: Monitoring CCTV systems, responding to alerts, and keeping accurate technical logs.
- Emergency Response & Crisis Triage: Serving as the first point of contact for overnight emergencies (such as fire or medical situations) and offering compassionate initial support to residents in distress.
- Information Handover: Creating detailed incident reports to ensure a smooth, professional handover to the daytime support team.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
To be successful in this essential and rewarding role, it is essential that you have:
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
- Proven experience in carrying out security monitoring, patrols, and independent welfare checks.
- Strong written communication and IT skills for producing clear, accurate handover reports.
- A calm, resilient nature with the ability to maintain positive boundaries with residents.
Training in First Aid, Fire Safety, Safeguarding, or Conflict Management is highly desirable but not essential.
