Excell Supply is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistants to work within nurseries across Warrington and the surrounding areas.

The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within a safe and nurturing environment. You will work alongside experienced nursery teams to deliver engaging activities and high-quality childcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
- Support daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and sleep times.
- Observe and record children's progress where required.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential).
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
