Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. Located on a working farm, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children and the outdoors. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages the holistic development of children in our nursery setting.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Manage daily routines and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages positive interactions among children.
- Lead by example, demonstrating effective leadership skills while supporting fellow educators in their professional development.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment that reflects the interests of the children.
Experience
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while promoting positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
- A proactive approach to driving initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences is beneficial.
