The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse range of building services systems. Duties will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to reactive maintenance tasks and breakdowns
- Working across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and building fabric systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with compliance requirements
- Supporting the wider engineering team to maintain site performance and reliability
About You
We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in facilities maintenance who can confidently manage a varied workload.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience within a building services or facilities maintenance environment
- Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Good understanding of HVAC systems
- Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
On-Call Requirement
- 1 in 2 call-out rota
- Very rarely called out
- Additional £2,400 annual allowance paid for participation
