About Us
Front Room is a growing independent café, bar, and pizza spot built around great food and genuinely warm hospitality. We’re a close-knit team who take real pride in what we do—big on using quality, UK sourced ingredients whilst supporting other independent businesses. It's an exciting time as Front Room is opening its second site on the bustling seafront of Porthcawl.
We care just as much about the atmosphere as we do what’s on the plate. Good music, good people, and a team that actually enjoys working together—it’s something we’ve built carefully, and we’re keen to keep it that way with every new hire.
The Role
A big part of your role will be to make all of our products from scratch using fresh ingredients that we get in daily from some of the best local suppliers. You'll be working in the pizza kitchen to make pizzas with our four-day fermented dough, hand stretched to order for the restaurant. You will also be supporting the breakfast service to uphold our high standards. There will be a need to get things ready behind the scenes, making sure everything going out is consistent and done properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Making and balling pizza dough to a high standard
- Cooking for both pizza and breakfast service
- Handling daily prep for both sites from the central kitchen
- Jumping into different sections when needed
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly
About You
- Previous kitchen experience
- You take pride in your prep and consistency
- You’re comfortable switching between different parts of the kitchen
- A positive and good energy which fits into a team
