Client Services & HR Administrator (Remote, Flexible Hours)

The role:
This is a role which is vital to our operation, ideal for someone who enjoys being organised, helping others and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
You will support the team with client onboarding, compliance, day-to-day administration work and a range of HR administration tasks. You will be the person helping to make sure appropriate client information is gathered and acted upon, that documents are prepared, systems are updated and clients receive a professional and responsive service.
This is a remote role with flexible hours, designed to support meaningful work alongside other commitments. You will be part of a small, values-led team where your contribution matters and where there will be opportunities to learn, develop and build your HR and legal knowledge over time.
Some of the things you’ll do:
- Support the onboarding of new clients, including gathering information, setting up records and ensuring key documents are in place;
- Act as a friendly and professional point of contact for clients during the onboarding process;
- Reconciling invoices and generating invoices;
- Assist with ensuring that our client files are compliant with our FCA regulatory requirements;
- Keep internal systems, work planner and client files accurate and up to date;
- Prepare, format and issue documents, letters and templates;
- Support the team with general administration, diary coordination and follow-up actions;
- Help maintain clear processes so that work is completed accurately and efficiently;
- Assist with junior HR tasks, such as preparing basic HR documentation;
- Handle confidential information carefully and professionally;
- Contribute ideas for streamlining admin processes and our client experience.
What you’ll bring
- Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail;
- A warm, professional and helpful communication style;
- Confidence using emails, Microsoft Office and other IT systems;
- The ability to manage tasks independently, but knowing when to ask for support;
- Strong written communication skills, a keen eye for detail and pride in producing accurate work;
- A positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn;
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information;
- A keen interest in developing your skills in HR or employment law;
- Previous admin, customer service or office experience would be helpful, but it is not essential;
- An ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, demonstrating warmth in client interactions.
