About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, driven, and experienced Senior Assistant Manager to join our leadership team at iBounce. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading teams, driving sales, and supporting the overall success of the business.
As Senior Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the venue, supporting the General Manager in achieving operational excellence, maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service, and driving business growth.
Working Hours
- 16-hour contracted position
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday
- Flexibility is essential during school holidays and peak trading periods
- Additional hours may be available to support the needs of the business
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager with the overall operation of the venue
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of shifts and daily operations
- Drive sales performance across admissions, parties, café sales, memberships, and promotional activities
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve business performance
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support the achievement of business targets
- Assist with recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively
- Support stock management, ordering, and cost control processes
- Carry out opening, closing, and managerial duties as required
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Champion a strong health and safety culture throughout the venue
- Ensure all safety checks, inspections, and documentation are completed accurately
- Monitor compliance with all operational and safety procedures
- Assist with accident investigations and incident reporting
- Promote safeguarding and customer welfare at all times
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
What We're Looking For
- Previous management or senior supervisory experience within leisure, hospitality, retail, or a customer-focused environment
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
- Strong sales focus with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make confident decisions
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Positive, proactive, and professional attitude
