Job Description:
- £65,000.00 base salary
- Location: North London
- No call out rota
- Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to carry out maintenance, installation, and servicing of mechanical HVAC systems.
Duties:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units
- Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs on HVAC equipment across multiple client sites
- Install, commission, and test HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and relevant regulations
- Service equipment including AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and fan coil units
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations, F-Gas requirements, Gas Safe standards, and industry best practices
- Accurately complete service reports, risk assessments, and maintenance records using digital or paper-based systems
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns when required
- Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients, site managers, and helpdesk teams
- Identify and report potential faults, improvements, or energy efficiency opportunities
- Work independently and coordinate with other engineers and subcontractors when necessary
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times
Requirements:
- Strong experience in at least two of the following: Gas/HVAC, Electrical/HVAC, or Gas/Electrical
- Good understanding of BMS systems (training will be provided where required)
- Knowledge of refrigeration recovery systems
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the UK HVAC industry
