Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff/Servers to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently
- Serve food and beverages accurately while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to safety and quality standards
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and workstations throughout shifts
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene procedures diligently
- Provide friendly assistance to guests, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials when appropriate
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or serving roles within restaurants or bars is advantageous
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of serving techniques and beverage preparation is desirable but not essential

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
