Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the installation process.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in using power tools and hand tools.
- Familiarity with electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Working at height
- Perform other physical tasks as required for installations.
- Previous experience in solar installation or related fields is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
