About Step Into Teaching
Step Into Teaching is a dynamic program designed to help graduates gain hands-on experience in education while inspiring young minds. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their journey into teaching or SEN-focused careers.
The Role
- Start Date: September 26 for the Academic year
- Job Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday
- Pay: £500–£520 per week (term-time only)
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with students with a range of Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to support academic and emotional development
- Help create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed
- Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
