Join the Team at Armed & Gorgeous!
We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our small team in Nailsworth. The role is a mix of packing customer orders and helping out on the shop floor — the balance between the two varies day to day depending on how busy we are with orders, so some shifts might be entirely packing, others mostly shop floor, and most somewhere in between.
About the role:
Part-time, in our physical shop. You'll need to be equally happy packing orders at the back and chatting with customers at the counter or on the floor — we need someone comfortable with both, as the day's mix isn't always predictable.
Order packing involves:
- Using Royal Mail Click & Drop to process orders (straightforward, full training given)
- Finding the right jewellery item using its SKU
- Carefully checking and packing the order
Shop floor involves:
- Welcoming customers and helping them browse
- Answering questions about products
- Helping people find gifts or pick something for themselves
- Working the till
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, warm, and easy to talk to with customers
- Careful and accurate — order accuracy matters
- Happy with a varied day — equally comfortable packing or on the floor
- Reliable and punctual
- A good fit for a small, supportive team
Previous experience in a customer-facing role or packing orders is desired but not essential.
Working hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings: 9:30am – 1:30pm
- Three Saturdays per month: 9am - 5:30pm
