Job Overview
We are looking for Manufacturing Technicians to support the production of unlicensed medicines. This role involves hands-on manufacturing, accurate measurement and mixing of materials, operating production equipment, and completing all work to a high standard of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning of work areas and processing equipment, maintaining GMP standards
- Measure, compound, and process pharmaceutical products, including our more complex formulations
- Set up laboratories for production, including cleaning, preparation, and equipment readiness
- Prepare bases and perform critical manufacturing setup activities
- Operate pharmaceutical equipment such as mixers, homogenisers, capsule machines, safety cabinets, and weighing scales
- Complete batch manufacturing records and ensure all documentation is accurate, neat, and compliant
- Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and compliance
- Support larger-scale production setup and start-up activities
- Undertake packaging and labelling of medicines in line with requirements
- Participate in daily, weekly, monthly cleaning, as well as scheduled deep cleans of the cleanroom
- Adhere strictly to GMP, SOPs, and Health & Safety policies to ensure patient and colleague safety
- Self-check work, reporting any issues, incidents, or non-compliance to supervisors
- Maintain effective communication within the team and across departments
- Participate in training, performance development, and continuous improvement activities
- Carry out any additional duties as required by Supervisors or Management

Desirable Qualities
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality systems or GMP (not essential).

- Salary: £26,450.00 (Pro-rata for 24 hours)
- Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 09:45 - 18:30
