Responsibilities:
- To serve customers in an efficient, polite, professional, friendly and open way to maximise their enjoyment of the visit.
- To set up and prepare for service.
- To ensure that all equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen is properly cared for and maintained at the required level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- To have a thorough knowledge of the menu and to be able to describe dishes to customers.
- To take customer orders accurately and to follow through all the steps of service to ensure customers have everything they need
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bistro or public house would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
Hours and any other restrictions
This is a full time position 37.5 hours a week and will be on a rota basis and will include weekends and some evenings (no late service)
