Due to continued growth, Strath-Air Limited is looking to expand our team with motivated individuals across multiple levels of experience within the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration industry from engineers to Handymen/maintenance personnel.
We are a growing company specialising in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heat Pump systems across commercial and domestic projects throughout Scotland.
Current Opportunities
Apprentice Engineer (Ages 16–20) / Handymen / Maintenance worker
Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 DOE
- Day release college training provided
- Annual salary reviews and progression opportunities

Ideal for school leavers or candidates looking to begin a hands-on trade career.
Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer
Salary: £20,000 – £23,000
- No FGAS qualification required
- Training provided on installations and maintenance
- Opportunity to progress into fully qualified engineer role
- Must be reliable, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team
Ideal for candidates with basic trade experience or a strong interest in HVAC.
Junior AC Engineer
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
- FGAS qualified preferred
- Able to work independently on installations
- Experience with split systems, multi-splits, and heat pumps advantageous
- Opportunity for further manufacturer training and career progression
AC Installation Engineer
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
- Fully competent installer required
- Experience across commercial and domestic installations
- Strong fault-finding and installation skills preferred
- Manufacturer training and development opportunities available

Location
Based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, with travel to sites across Scotland as required.
