Battenhall Nursery is a small, independent, friendly nursery. As the building was previously a family home we are able to provide a warm, nurturing environment with a 'home from home' feel.
The nursery is open from 7:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year excluding Bank Holidays.
Job Description
We are recruiting an Early Years Educator to work full time across 4 days a week.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, fun, proactive and able to use their initiative to work within our friendly nursery. You will be fully supported in your role by our Room Leaders and management team.

Job Requirements
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate and be signed up to the update service
- Hold at least a Level 3 Early Years qualification that is deemed to be full and relevant by the Department of Education
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS
- Have at least one year of proven experience working with children
- Ideally hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the nursery team in providing high quality childcare
- Providing inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating the EYFS
- Supporting a group of key children
- Maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment.
