Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team. This role involves developing engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and fostering positive public relations. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Visit sites, cafes, bars and interview traders.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and interactions; respond promptly to foster community engagement.
- Analyse performance metrics to optimise content effectiveness and increase reach.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
- Manage public relations activities to enhance organisational reputation and build positive relationships with media outlets and influencers.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media management and digital marketing to keep content fresh and innovative.
- Organise campaigns around special events or product launches to maximise audience engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation within a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to different audiences.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing software is desirable.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics or platform-specific insights to track performance metrics.
- Creative thinker with a proactive attitude towards innovation in digital storytelling.
- A recognised qualification in marketing, communications, or related fields is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
