Capella Professional are working with a well-established media and publishing business in Long Eaton that has been delivering high-quality print and digital content for over 20 years. With a strong national presence and a loyal advertiser base, they provide businesses with targeted advertising solutions across print, online, and digital platforms.
This is not a cold start environment. You’ll be stepping into a business with credibility, recognised publications, and a proven sales model that works.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring in an experienced Advertising Sales Executive to join a high-performing and commercially driven team.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, phone-based sales role focused on generating advertising revenue across both print and digital platforms.
You will be responsible for winning new business, re-engaging existing advertisers, and building a portfolio of clients who return to you time and time again.
You will be selling real value, not just space, advising clients on how to position their brand, reach the right audience, and maximise return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Selling advertising space across print publications and digital platforms
- Proactively calling and converting new advertisers across the UK
- Managing and growing repeat business from existing clients
- Advising on campaign strategy, placement, and deadlines
- Working towards monthly revenue targets and publication schedules
- Building and maintaining your own client portfolio
- Keeping CRM systems updated with activity and pipeline
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns deliver
About You
- Proven experience selling advertising space within print, online, or digital media
- Comfortable discussing campaign value, audience reach, and ROI
- Strong sales ability with confidence on the phone
- Target driven and motivated by earning potential
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Professional, credible, and able to build lasting relationships
