Opus Vitae are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a busy & growing production based business.
We are searching for an Electrical Engineer to join an experienced team & be based out of a workshop. You will be required to maintain weekly schedules set out by the company.
Monday to Friday, covering 7am-4pm.
Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 a year
The Role
- Daily visual equipment checks for production line machinery.
- Conducting frequent quality checks on equipment to minimise production downtime.
- Investigating & rectifying machinery & equipment breakdowns.
- Keeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out
- Assist with carrying out building maintenance
Requirements
- Experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of control panel building & PLC programming desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, the ability to interact with suppliers and others.
- Must be qualified to 18th Edition for the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2018 & ideally will hold the City & Guilds Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations qualification.
