We're looking for an experienced, reliable, and hands-on Head Housekeeper to join our friendly team at our busy country inn.
This is a key role responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the inn, including our three luxury letting bedrooms and all public areas. We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and has an excellent eye for detail.
Working Hours
- 5 days per week, including weekends.
- Typical working hours are 7:00 am – 12:00 noon.
- Flexibility to work additional hours occasionally during busy periods or to cover holidays would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing our three guest bedrooms to a consistently high standard.
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar, restaurant, and public areas.
- Managing laundry and linen supplies.
- Monitoring and ordering housekeeping stock.
- Carrying out regular deep-cleaning schedules.
- Reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Leading by example and helping maintain high housekeeping standards across the business.
- Working closely with the management team to ensure every guest enjoys a first-class stay.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous housekeeping experience, ideally in hospitality.
- Has excellent attention to detail and high personal standards.
- Is organised, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Has a positive, friendly attitude and enjoys working as part of a small team.
- Is flexible and willing to work weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Takes pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.
