HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – Hallen, Bristol
The ASH Group is a family-owned business. ASH Waste Services is the leading provider of waste management and resource solutions with bases across the UK.
An opportunity has arisen for LGV Drivers to join our Hallen Depot to undertake a route collecting non-hazardous trade and commercial waste.
The LGV Driver role will be responsible for driving the wagon to each customer location, collecting the bins and emptying them into the wagon.
The successful candidate will have a current LGV (Class 2 (C) licence and have experience of driving a 32-tonne wagon. With excellent communication and inter-personal skills, the successful candidate will be able to undertake physical duties, work in a team, and meet deadlines.
Location: East Cliff Business Park, Severn Road, Hallen, Bristol, BS10 7GD
Hours: Monday to Friday starting at 05:00, completion of routes, with a 45-hour contract plus reasonable overtime.
Salary: £46,100.00 per year including conditional bonus and overtime.
Your Role Includes:
- Driving a Class 2 Refuse Vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
- Active ownership of route and customers
- Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
- Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
- Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

Requirements:
- Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Up to date CPC
- Digi / Tachograph card
Pay: £16.21-£22.74 per hour
