Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control to minimise waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
- Serve dishes to guests when required, providing excellent customer service
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP certification is advantageous)
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry is preferred
- A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences through innovative cuisine and excellent service
