Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. Duties
- Manage and record all financial transactions using Xero
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately
- Prepare financial reports and statements as required for management review
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
- Maintain organised records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting activities as needed
Skills
- Proven experience with Xero
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial reporting standards
