Jolly's Catering Ltd is looking for an experienced and confident Canteen Chef to take ownership of one of our busy construction site canteens in King's Cross.
This is a two-person operation, with you working alongside a dedicated Front of House Assistant to deliver breakfast and lunch service to a regular customer base. If you enjoy running your own kitchen, taking pride in your food and building relationships with customers, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking fresh breakfasts and lunches.
- Planning and managing the daily service.
- Ordering stock and managing deliveries.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene standards.
- Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and efficient.
- Working closely with your Front of House colleague to ensure smooth service.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a canteen chef, café chef or contract catering chef.
- Is confident working independently and managing a small kitchen.
- Can organise their own workload and work efficiently during busy service.
- Takes pride in producing consistently good quality food.
- Has excellent food hygiene knowledge.
- Has the right to work in the UK.
Hours
Monday to Friday
6:30am to 3:30pm
Pay
£15.50 to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
