Job Summary
Beauty Therapist / Beautician (Level 3 Qualified)
Minimum 21 hours per week
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and experienced Beauty Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional treatments and providing excellent customer service. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of three therapists, all qualified to Level 3 and above, in our beautiful salon based in the village of Honley. As our newest team member, you'll help complete our team of four dedicated professionals.
Essential Requirements
Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification (required).
Competent and confident in all areas of beauty therapy, including but not limited to:
◦ Gel polish and builder gel treatments.
◦ Manicures and pedicures.
◦ Facials and skincare treatments.
◦ Body massage treatments.
◦ Waxing and tinting.
◦ Spray tanning.
Other Duties - Manage the front desk, greeting clients and scheduling appointments / taking payments
- Upsell beauty products and services to clients with a commission structure in place for you to benefit from these sales
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences and build strong relationships
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon
- Utilise social media platforms for marketing and client engagement -(although not essential)
Excellent customer care and communication skills.
Professional, reliable and well presented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours
Minimum 21 hours per week.
Monday daytime availability is essential. One late evening per week (Wednesday/Thursday) and Saturday's are essential.
We offer flexibility with working days and hours where possible and are happy to discuss individual requirements.
Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.
Remuneration Package
Competitive basic hourly rate. Commission on treatment appointments. Commission on retail product sales.
No set targets – commission is designed to reward performance and success.
Ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Proficient in beauty treatments including massage ( we have a loyal clients base of both male and female for massages), facials, nails, pedicure, waxing etc.
- Strong client services skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable in front desk operations
- Have an existing client base but not essential
- Knowledge of social media management for business purpose but not essential
