Role Overview
The Gaming Centre Team Member will play a crucial role within the company, assisting customers with in-store play events and purchases. You will also be responsible for TCG Events, liaising with brands, creating in-store promotions and developing new promotional ideas. Alongside this, other duties will include keeping the Gaming Centre clean and tidy, as well as replenishing stock levels within the store.
- InStore Promotions: Create and deliver engaging in-store promotions to highlight new products and special offers.
- Event Organisation: Organise in-store play events for Trading Card & Collectible Card Games, Warhammer gameplay, board games, and other TCGs, providing an exciting experience for players.
- Customer Service: Welcome and serve customers with a friendly attitude, assisting them in making purchases and answering any questions.
- Creating a Friendly Environment: Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere, creating a space where families and friends can comfortably shop, play, and spend time together
- Service Standards: Follow established processes and procedures to deliver high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Social Media Management: Manage social media channels to promote products and upcoming in-store events effectively.
- Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the store and increase sales.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure stock is replenished and store standards are maintained, including sanitising customer and staff areas and keeping the store clean and inviting.
Working Hours
Rota based shifts, 9am - 5pm / 2pm - 10pm
5 days per week, including alternative weekends
Experience
- Previous experience in a Customer Service background
- Experience with some of the brands we sell is a must (Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!), although further training will be provided
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build instant customer rapport
- Handle customer questions efficiently and politely
- Ability to work quickly with confidence and be adaptable to change
- Work well under pressure
- Follows procedure to resolve customer problems
- Identifies and sells to customer needs
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written
- Work closely with other departments to drive continuous improvements
- Proficient computer skills.

Pay: £24,784.50-£26,325.00 per year
