Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and reliable Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service in a beautifully presented hotel that is privately owned and operated, offering a more personal and welcoming working environment. As the first point of contact for guests, you will help create a positive and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
The shift pattern is predominantly 07.00 - 14.30 but will be required to work the occasional 14.30 - 22.00 shift.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check in and check out procedures
- Manage reservations efficiently
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Process payments securely
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential, training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic administrative tasks is desirable
- A friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for delivering excellent guest service
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
