Due to expansion, Gravel Pit Aggregates are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 night out drivers to join our busy haulage and aggregate recycling company with trucks based in York, Castleford and Northallerton.
We are a young, friendly, family-run business and welcome applications from all self-motivated Class 1 or 2 drivers with a positive attitude to join our team.
Our ideal candidates will have:
- Full, clean HGV Class 1 or 2 licence with up-to-date CPD and valid Driver Qualification Card.
- Experience driving 8-wheeler tipper trucks is desirable, and we're happy to hear from less experienced candidates with a positive mindset and willingness to learn.
- Excellent working knowledge of drivers' professional responsibilities. We are striving to maintain high standards within our fleet and depend on our drivers cooperation to achieve this.
- The ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Excellent time management, reliability and good communication skills.
- Be able to follow instructions and adapt to changing schedules with a positive attitude.
