SEND Drama/English Teacher
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Drama and English lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.

Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, through differentiated teaching strategies.

Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Encourage student confidence, independence, creativity, and participation in learning.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEND staff, and parents to support student progress.
What We're Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Drama and/or English in a school setting.
-
Knowledge of SEND and experience supporting students with additional needs.

Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
-
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
