Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and specialised treatments.
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client experience.
- Manage store operations efficiently, including front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in barbering, colour techniques, and customer care.
- Upsell products and services to optimise client satisfaction and business growth.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous.
- Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application are desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience in front desk operations including appointment booking and retail upselling.
- Ability to mentor junior staff members and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery.
- Valid qualification in hairdressing or barbering recognised within the industry.
