Job Summary
This is a full-time, hybrid and on site for a Business Development Manager located in Warrington. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to sales growth and revenue expansion. The role involves developing strategies to target potential clients, conducting market research, preparing effective sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term success.
There will be a susbstantial amount of travel involved covering all of the uk and possibly ireland.
A company car will be provided.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimise outreach strategies.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively using CRM software, including Salesforce.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet organisational targets.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the organisation’s services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a related industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, and other sales management tools.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive attitude towards identifying opportunities.
- Demonstrable ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
