Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Electrical Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess solid electrical experience and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive testing of electrical systems and components using specialised equipment
- Inspect wiring, circuits, and equipment for faults or irregularities
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs, adjustments, or replacements as required
- Document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports for review
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical testing or related field
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Experience with power tools relevant to electrical work
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Relevant electrical certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
