The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £14.50 per hour, increasing to £15.00 per hour once competent.
Location: LN2, Lincoln
We provide 24-hour, around-the-clock care. Shifts will include a mix of days, waking nights, and alternate weekends, depending on the package.
Contract Type: Permanent, with immediate start available.
We offer the below contract options:
- 36-hour contract

Day Shifts
- Monday – Friday: 3:30PM – 8:30PM
- Thursday & Friday: 7:30AM – 8:30AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:30AM – 8:30PM
Night Shifts
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday:
- 8:30PM – 8:30AM
Non-Term Time
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday:
- 8:30AM – 8:30PM
- Thursday & Friday:
8:00AM – 8:30PMNight Shifts
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday:
- 8:30PM – 8:30AM
DBS: Preferred / update service desirable
Driver with access to a vehicle: Required

Our team of skilled professionals offers around-the-clock specialised care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs, and we are now looking for like-minded professionals to join us in providing top-quality care that truly makes a difference.
We recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one dedicated care package based in a single location. There may also be opportunities to support other packages within the local area when required.
The Person You Will Support
Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a young person’s life?
- You will support a young lady with complex medical and neurological needs, including autism and a learning disability.
- Their severe epilepsy requires calm and confident monitoring during and after seizures – experience in this is required.
- Care tasks include PEG/gastrostomy support and Oxygen/Oxygen therapy
- They enjoy relaxing with their favourite TV shows and iPad and spending time with their dolls and simple craft activities.
- Gentle encouragement, patience, and positive engagement are key to helping them feel safe, understood, and supported.
- A good understanding of Special Educational Needs, sensory needs and person-centred care will help them thrive without becoming overwhelmed.
- You will play an important role in supporting her to achieve the best possible quality of life by providing compassionate, person-centred care. She is very much looking forward to meeting her new support worker.

Training
- At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.

- Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience. Experience supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities is essential, and experience in SEN is highly desirable.
A positive attitude, calm approach, and friendly nature are key, as you will be providing meaningful support that enhances our people’s quality of life.
To Be Considered for This Position, You Will Need:
- Experience working with epilepsy
- Experience supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities
- An understanding of person-centred and sensory-aware care
- A calm and reassuring nature
- SEN/Learning disabilities experience
- A genuine passion for care
- A friendly and positive approach
- Flexible availability
- A current DBS preferred (paper or update service)
- A full UK driving licence (required)
