As a Credit controller, you will manage a specific portion of our foreign currency client ledger. Your primary focus will be preventing bad debts, maximising cash flow, and minimising debtor days.
- Take full ownership of all aspects of your assigned client accounts, including maintaining accurate master data
- Maximise cash flow and minimise debtor days by encouraging good credit practices across the firm
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, and their teams to advise on credit policy and help resolve queries
- Establish and maintain strong, long-standing relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients
About You
We are looking for a confident, proactive individual who is keen to develop their credit control skills in a professional services environment.
- Background in credit control
- Proven ability to manage your own workload, use your initiative, and take responsibility for completing tasks accurately and on time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently deal directly with clients
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- Commitment to delivering excellent client service, with a flexible and adaptable approach to maintaining healthy client relationships
- Solid IT skills and familiarity with MS Office packages, alongside the ability to quickly learn and utilise in-house systems and workflows
