We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting relaxation and well-being through expert massage techniques. This role offers an opportunity to provide personalised treatments in a tranquil environment, helping clients achieve physical and mental balance. We provide training opportunities and are looking to hire part-time / Full time staff under a fixed contract.
Duties
- Perform customised massage treatments based on client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and other specialised techniques
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health history and specific requirements
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences
- Ensure the treatment area is clean, organised, and prepared for each session
- Provide advice on post-treatment care and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing wellness
- Uphold strict hygiene standards in line with health and safety regulations
- Promote wellness programmes and additional services offered by the clinic
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimise client flow
Qualifications
- recognised qualification in massage therapy or equivalent certification from a reputable training provider
- Proven experience in delivering a variety of massage techniques preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a calming environment for clients
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain detailed records
- Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to massage therapy practices
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
- A professional attitude with a commitment to ongoing personal development in holistic therapies
Pay: £13.50-£18.50 per hour
