At NVC Lighting UK, we're looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Officer to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a growing international business, working across a broad range of finance activities while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing
As a valued member of our Finance team, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Managing daily finance transactions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, expenses, overheads and payroll-related activities.
✅ Supporting weekly payment runs, cash management and credit control activities.
✅ Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple systems.
✅ Assisting with month-end close and year-end audit processes.
✅ Preparing reconciliations, schedules and supporting documentation.
✅ Responding to finance queries from customers and internal stakeholders.
✅ Supporting ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines strong technical finance skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Essential Experience & Skills
✔ Previous experience in a finance operations role within a multi-entity or group environment.
✔ Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations.
✔ Experience using accounting systems.
✔ Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
✔ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
✔ Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable
⭐ Experience with NetSuite and/or Profit Plus.
⭐ Exposure to invoice finance arrangements, including drawdowns and reconciliations.
⭐ Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
⭐ Comfortable working across multiple systems and data sources.
