Location - Hatfield Peverel
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 10:00 - 15:30 / 16:00
Salary: £20,514.00 PA
About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, positive and active Support Worker to assist a young gentleman in his own home and community in the Hatfield Peverel area.
The gentleman is diagnosed with Autism, Learning Difficulties and ADHD. This young man has his own automatic mobility vehicle which will be used to access the community. He has a special interest in boxing and researching ancestry. A full UK driver's licence is essential!
This is a supportive and companionship-focused role with no personal care requirements. Support is required to access meaningful activities in the community.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting with community activities such as visiting the Essex Register Officer
- Supporting the gentleman to attend boxing classes every Tuesday
- Providing companionship and encouragement
- Providing guidance and support when out and about
Requirements:
- A positive and active personality
- Someone like-minded who enjoys ancestry and being actively involved within the community
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Reliable, supportive and respectful of independence
- Experience of supporting individuals with Autism
