Key Duties
People:
- Build relationships with other team members to generate new opportunities from existing employers
- Ensure own CPD and professional competency is maintained
- Strive to maintain positive working relationships across the team
- Maintain a flexible approach to support your team and the wider business
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure initial assessments, health and Safety vetting and enrolments are completed in a timely and compliant manner.
- Respond to and resolve enrolment queries from the Administration team in a timely manner
- Ensure CRM is being used effectively and accurately for tracking activity and reporting
- Strive for right first-time sales and learner enrolments in line with quality & compliance expectations
- Keep up to date with and adhere to company, policies and procedures at all times
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding. Playing your part to protect colleagues and learners against all types of bullying, radicalisation or abuse
- Take responsibility for the protection of data in line with policies and procedures
Stakeholders:
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with employers to support the achievement of sales targets
- Support employers in your region as the first point of contact to deliver effective account management and maximise business opportunities
- Engagement with the Marketing department to identify and execute localised campaigns, contributing to social media activity and attending events
- Maintain awareness of business capacity and competency across region by working closely with delivery teams
- Knowledgeable about different funding streams and career pathways in sector to deliver effective Information Advice and Guidance
- Promote a positive and professional image of the company and all of the services it delivers through excellent customer service
- To demonstrate and uphold the company values, creating a great place to work for all
Growth:
- Monitor own business development performance in line with role KPIs, ensuring that a consistent, ongoing sales pipeline is identified, leading to the achievement of sales targets
- Ownership of regional business development plan to target new and existing employers in sector/geography
- Timely follow up and conversion of leads and referrals allocated to you
- Conduct employer presentations to win new business
- Identify any suitable opportunities to promote other company service refer to wider Business Development team members
- Contribute positively to growth of the business by controlling costs
Qualifications:
- Level 2 English and maths
- Level 4 Information Advice & Guidance
Experience:
- Experienced sales professional with track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and B2B pipeline management
- Experience of developing new business opportunities
- Previous exposure to apprenticeships/ adult education
Skills:
- Competent in the use and purpose of technology with strong IT skills in Microsoft office, learner management systems and CRM
- Influencing and negotiation ability in a sales environment
- Competent at creating and delivering Sales presentations
- Proven communicator, with the ability to engage and nurture relationships across a wide range of sectors
- Planning and organising
