What You'll Be Doing
As a Water Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring water systems are safe, compliant, and operating correctly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Commissioning new water mains to WIS and TGN 2 standards
- Cleaning and disinfecting cold water storage tanks
- Disinfecting domestic water systems
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Supporting Legionella control programmes
- Producing accurate digital reports and records
- Travelling throughout the UK to support projects
What We're Looking For
You don't need previous water industry experience—we're more interested in finding the right person.
You'll be a good fit if you:
- Have experience in engineering, maintenance, construction, utilities, water hygiene, or another practical hands-on role
- Enjoy problem solving and working independently
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Are comfortable using mobile devices and digital reporting systems
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Are happy to travel and stay away from home when required
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK as required
- Comfortable with extensive driving and occasional overnight stays
