Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for breakfast service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area before, during, and after service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and food storage
- Serve breakfast dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and guest needs
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
